Grandma Mullinax Paintings

This was my 3rd painting ever ! At the age of 49 I wanted to paint something 3 dimensional so I decided to use plaster of paris . I named this "Lady in a Bottle" because I was about to turn 50 and had bottled up so much creativity through the years!!



I painted this Modern acrylic of the beach for my sister Peggy! I used a real starfish and sea glass and painted this in 2 hours! 2012


 

I painted this  acrylic for a good friend in 1 hour!!We both went to Catholic gradeschool together!This portrait is titled "Sr. Andrea".

 

 

This was my first oil painting that I named "Lady with Bubushka". I painted this for my mom who is 100% Czech. Although it favors a Modigliani my mom did not want it. Yes ..Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think it is beautiful!

This was my first painting at the age 0f 49. "Best Friends" is the title of this acrylic painting! And the lady on the left is sitting on her other leg!
